Holy Trinity Church and St John the Baptist Cookham Dean together form The Benefice of The Cookhams.  The two churches work together for the whole community under the same Ministry Team. Whoever you are, wherever you are from, whatever your background, you are welcome here, and you will always be welcome in our church.

The Big Dig 2025 – Friends Of Cookham Abbey

We are excited to announce that bookings are now available for site tours of the University of Reading’s dig at Cookham Abbey.

We are looking forward to another year of new discoveries as we strive to learn more about this important Early Medieval religious site. Are you looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children in our community? We invite you to join our dedicated ‘Open the Book’ team! This initiative offers a unique opportunity to bring the joy and wisdom of the Bible to children in our local primary schools through lively and engaging storytelling.

Who We’re Looking For:
Enthusiastic individuals with a passion for education and the Christian faith. Volunteers available during school hours and willing to commit to regular sessions. No previous experience required—just a willingness to learn and engage!
