Retired Priest with Permission to Officiate
My childhood was spent in rural Lincolnshire where I was a chorister at Holy Trinity Collegiate Church, Tattershall. I graduated in Physics from Leeds University and it was there that I met Rosalind. We married in 1976 and since then Ros has been at my side and my best friend. For many years we were both preoccupied with our careers. After graduating I became a Process Engineer with 3M; and four years later joined IBM as a Financial Planner. I progressed into Strategic Planning at the UK Head Office and then moved into IBM sales, located in Leeds. After seventeen years I left to join a software house, still in Leeds, which was taken over by the company I am now the Managing Director for. Approximately ten years ago I was called back to my faith; and later realised it was a calling to the priesthood. After an interesting journey I was ordained in 2013. My passion is mountains and my claim to fame is being a Munroist – I have climbed all the Scottish hills over 3,000 ft”
